The Malta Cruising Club sailing activities during 2020 and 2021 have been severely hampered due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, however following the success of the 8th Falken Tyres “Sette Giugno” Pozzallo Cruise in June 2022, the Club decided to introduce a new end-of-season cruise, this time to Marina di Ragusa.
The event will be an extended weekend cruise to the Porto Turistico Marina di Ragusa between Friday 23rd and Monday 26th September 2022.
Following discussions between the Club and the Porto Turistico Marina di Ragusa, which this year has new owners and a new management team, an attractive package has been secured to create an enjoyable programme for all skippers, crew and their families.
The Malta Cruising Club members’ boats will be hosted for the three nights at Marina di Ragusa, with an open-air buffet dinner on the quays of the Marina planned for Saturday 24th . There will also be a tour for the skippers of the participating boats of the extensive boat maintenance facilities available at Marina di Ragusa on Sunday 25th.
Bookings for this new end-of-season event to the Porto Turistico Marina di Ragusa have been gathering momentum with over 25 sailing boats expected to make the crossing later this month to what is being looked upon as another enjoyable all-family event.
Special thanks go to Porto Turistico Marina di Ragusa, its new owners, and management for making this event possible.
