Commodore’s Lunch

Our next Social Event this year is the annual Commodore's Buffet Lunch. This event is being held at the Olea Restaurant at the Salini Resort in Salini on Sunday 11th December 2022 at 12:30 hrs. The Olea Restaurant is one floor up from the Vecchia Napoli restaurant at the same Salini Resort (previously the Salina Bay Hotel). Ample parking facilities are available on the premises.

During the lunch, the Club Commodore will be announcing the winner of this year's Commodore's Award.

The lunch will be in a Buffet format with a very large variety of salads, soup, different meats, and fish as well as a section of mouth-watering deserts! The price is Euro 40 per head; children between 5-12 years pay Euro 20; under 5 years free of charge.

On the buffet table you will find:

Salads & Antipasti

A selection of Mediterranean mouth-watering antipasti, meze, salads, and platters, prepared by our chefs using mostly typical ingredients both from the land and sea. Dress these up with our flavoured oils and tasty dressings

Soup of the day

Hearty minestrone soup
Chunky seasonal vegetables, cooked in a fragrant vegetable and herb broth

Pasta

Penne all’ amatriciana
Orecchiette with fresh pesto Genovese

Main Courses

Slow cooked Scottona Beef Rib, onion gravy
Roasted leg of Pork, served with apple sauce
Grilled swordfish with a puttanesca sauce
Slow roasted pork belly, with a honey and apple cider glaze
North African vegetable curry

Free flowing red or white wine, beer, water and soft drinks, all included in the price.

Club members are entitled to invite members of their family to join them for the buffet lunch. Members can also invite their friends to join them, however, because of space limitations, they can only invite up to two guests for the lunch.

Please send me your bookings for yourselves, family and friends as early as possible. Remember that, as usual, we are limited in the number of members we can accommodate.
