Easter in Gozo

Dear members,
We are, once again, proposing a cruise to Gozo for the Easter weekend starting from Good Friday till Easter; 7th to 9th April 2023.
We have contacted the Mgarr Marina and they are offering Euro 40 per night per boat for members of the Club for those two nights. We suggest you leave Malta on Friday around 9:00/10:00 am to be tied up at the Mgarr Marina around lunch time. One can easily catch a bus from the Mgarr Terminal to one of the villages to watch the Good Friday procession there.
On Saturday evening we will organise a dinner to all members who wish to join us at Cafe' & Bistro Giuseppe in Ghajnsielem at 7:30 pm. Giuseppe is a 15 minute walk from Mgarr Marina (see map below) albeit uphill one way and, very conveniently, downhill on the way back. The price is Euro 30 per person and there is a choice of main course for the day (see also menu below). All boats will leave the Mgarr Marina on Sunday 9th April by 11:00 am.
Should the weather be uncooperative for that week-end we have a Plan B. We will still hold the dinner at Cafe' & Bistro Giuseppe at Ghajnsielem as planned on Saturday 8th April 2023 but we will cross over to Gozo by ferry. Our suggestion is to leave your cars at Cirkewwa, take the 18:15 or 18:30 ferry (or earlier if you wish) and proceed to the restaurant on foot.
The menu for the night is shown below. The price per head is only Euro 30 and includes wine and water on the table. All you have to let us know is what do you prefer for your Main Course, either:
Chicken or
Ribeye Steak or
Pork Chops or
Salmon
Come and join us for the Easter Weekend or if the weather is foul, for the evening dinner at Ghajnsielem. It should be a very enjoyable trip to Gozo either with our boats or just for the evening on Saturday night.
Send us an email on maltacruisingclub@gmail.com to book your boat or a seat at Café & Bistro Giuseppe. But please do it as soon as possible especially for the restaurant because we have a limited amount of seats available (remember it is a Saturday) and we need to give them an answer by Tuesday 4th April 2023.
