Fun Quiz Night & Fenkata at Dingli

The annual Quiz Night is back! Time to have some competitive fun and enjoy a nice meal in company. As tradition goes, this year we decided once again to propose a fenkata, the traditional stewed rabbit dinner, to accompany the friendly competitive atmosphere of our Quiz Night. But this time we will go to the village of Dingli!

Come and join us at the Santa Marija Band Club in Dingli on Friday 5th May 2023 at 7:15pm. The band club is a new building with excellent facilities and a very good restaurant. The Quiz Master for the evening will be the Club secretary himself and the quiz will be conducted in English. Please try to be punctual so that we start the quiz on time!

There will be appetizers, free-flowing red or white wine, and water on the table during the first part of the Quiz session followed by a plate of spaghetti with rabbit sauce. After the second part of the Quiz, we will be served the main course which is the traditional fried rabbit, followed by Helwa tat-Tork (Turkish Halva) and peanuts in their shell!

For those who prefer not to have the traditional fried rabbit, the restaurant can offer you spaghetti bolognese and chicken for the main course instead (see menu below). But it is important to let us know beforehand.......please. The price for the night out is only €28 per person which includes the dinner, the wine and mineral water and the participation fee for the Quiz.

Dining tables will be organised in the restaurant to form competitive teams of 6 persons per table. So do come along and bring your friends (especially those good in general knowledge!) and form a team…….and more importantly enjoy yourselves. Prizes will be given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd winning teams of the night.

Please remember that we are restricted in the number of persons we can accomodate in this restaurant. So please book early to avoid disappointment.
