Laferla Sette Giugno Marina di Ragusa Cruise 2025 [FULLY BOOKED]

As title sponsors for this event, Laferla will be providing participating boats with a cruise flag and T-Shirts to all skippers and registered crew members.

Once again, we are forced to limit the number of persons that we can book for this cruise because of transportation issues.  The limit will be the maximum capacity of two buses.  We are therefore limited to a maximum number of 110 persons that we can book for this cruise.  Once we reach that number, we will regrettably be unable to take further bookings.

If you intend to join us, please make sure you book early.

1. Booking for this event should be made on the attached Booking Form. The form should be filled in, scanned and emailed back to the Club Hon Secretary on bookings@maltacruisingclub.org.
2. Booking must be accompanied by payment for each crew member (including skipper) on board the boat as indicated below and the amount due should be paid to the treasurer of the Club by Internet Bank Transfer. If you are unable to travel to Sicily on those dates due to unforeseen circumstances or because of the weather, the Club will refund you the money if cancellation is received by the Club 48 hours before departure.
3. Payment for this Cruise will be as follows:
   • Skipper and Crew: €110 each
   • Children under the age of 12:   €50 each
4. The payment will cover all the events associated with this cruise, that is:
   • The Reception at the Skipper’s briefing on 3^rd June
   • Welcome drink and antipasti on pontoon on 5^th June
   • Official Laferla Dinner at Sabor Restaurant on 6^th June
   • Tour by coach to Donnafugata Castle + Agriturismo Monsovile on the 7^th June
   • One night berthing fees at Marina di Ragusa (the other two nights have to be settled by the Skipper at their offices).
5. On arrival, boats will be required to call at the Porto Turistico Marina di Ragusa (PTMdR) office and register their boats as usual. Skippers will be also asked to pay for berthing fees of their boat according to the size of their boat.  However, for your three nights stay in Ragusa, you will be asked to pay only for two nights.   Skippers who require the use of the pontoon water and electricity facilities would also need to acquire the appropriate token from the office to access the amenities.  PTMdR will ask for a deposit for the token (which will be reimbursed when you leave the marina) and will charge for usage of water and electricity.
6. Members who would like to leave Malta for Marina di Ragusa before Thursday 5th June or would like to extend their stay in Marina di Ragusa beyond Sunday 8^th June can do so by contacting PTMdR individually and asking them for an extended stay. Boats will be charged separately for berthing fees for their extended stay and have to settle the bill with PTMdR directly.
7. On Tuesday 3^rd June at 19:00 hrs, a briefing for all skippers who have mailed/sent a booking form for this event (as indicated in [1] above) will take place at Haywharf Restaurant and Clubhouse in Floriana. Flags and T-shirts (for all crew) will be distributed at this briefing. The briefing will be followed by a standing reception at the same premises which will include savouries and wine and water.  Skippers may be accompanied by their spouses/partners or one member of their crew.   But please, only one person with the skipper.

We therefore encourage all members who intend to join us this year to Marina di Ragusa to fill in the booking form as soon as possible and send it via email.  Once we receive your form and payment, we will confirm your booking by email.
