Commodore’s Lunch at the Gillieru Restaurant St. Pauls’ Bay

After the very well-attended dinner at the Malta Golf Club, we are pleased to announce the annual Commodore’s Lunch on Sunday 5th December 2021 at the Gillieru Restaurant in St. Paul’s Bay.

Lunch will be served in a secluded area of the restaurant reserved for us right by the waterfront with panoramic views of St Paul’s Bay. However, as you are well aware, restaurants are super busy for Sunday lunches and all restaurants are required to adhere to Covid-19 regulations, restricting the number of tables they can cater for.

Consequently, we are also restricted on the number of bookings we can take for the day. Regrettably, for the Malta Golf Club dinner earlier this month, we had to refuse last-minute bookings because of space problems.

We therefore strongly suggest you make your bookings as early as possible to avoid being disappointed. Bookings will be taken strictly on a first-come-first-served basis.

For the Sunday 5 December lunch, we have made arrangements with the restaurant to offer our members a very interesting menu (shown below). The price for the lunch is Euro 36 per person. The price includes a choice for the first and second course, a dessert as well as wine and mineral water on the table. You can order soft drinks, more wine, or liquors for your table but you pay the restaurant directly for these extras.
