Committee Member Patrick Genovese gave us a very interesting presentation on the core principles of proper sail trim. The webinar dealt with:
- The core fundamentals of how sails work,
- Wind behavior
- How to “see” and evaluate sail shape for various wind angles and wind strengths
- How to use the various sail controls to achieve correct trim.
